Secondary Teacher Positions for 2026 (HASS, English and TAS)

Covenant Christian School is seeking applications from passionate and suitably qualified teachers to join our Secondary School team in 2026. We currently have part-time vacancies in the following subject areas:

• Humanities and English Teacher (HASS and English)
• Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) Teacher

These positions are offered on a part-time basis; however, they may be combined to with other subject areas as required, depending on the strengths of the applicant and the needs of the school.

Essential Requirements

• A sound profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, supported by active involvement in a Protestant church.
• Appropriate teaching qualifications and current registration (or eligibility) with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or equivalent).
• A commitment to the philosophy of Classical Christian Education and a desire to teach with a biblical worldview.
• Obtain and/or maintain the ACT Working With Vulnerable People card.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a Christ-centred team.

Desirable

• Experience teaching across multiple year levels (Years 7–10).
• A willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.
• Additional teaching areas may be an advantage.
