Assistant Head of Middle School – Start 2026
A new Assistant Head of Middle School role, to support our Head of Middle School, has being created for Coffs Harbour Christian Community School.
Are you this person?
The person who takes on this key leadership role, will be responsible and accountable for:
• Leadership and development in the Middle School.
• Collaboration with this Head of Middle School, Faculty Heads and Middle School staff.
• Curriculum oversight and development.
• Operational and administrative responsibilities.
Middle Schooling in our school has proven to be a highly effective model for transitioning Primary School students into Secondary School. This has positive educational, social, and developmental effects on students growth and maturation.
Middle School students moving up through the year levels have decreasing times with their Homeroom teacher (Year 6, 80% – Year 7, 50% – Year 8, 30%) and increasing timetabled time with specialist teachers.
We are looking for a person who can build upon a good existing foundation and lead the team to even greater heights of inspiration, innovation, dedication and service.
The successful applicant will work closely with an experienced leadership team who demonstrate commitment to mentoring and supporting their staff to achieve their purpose and career callings.
