CHRISTWAY COLLEGE – KINGSTON HEAD OF STUDENT WELLBEING The College is seeking an experienced School Psychologist and/or Counsellor as our new Head of Student Wellbeing to work across all year levels in the College. The position is full-time, commencing January 2025. Salary will be negotiated in accordance with experience and qualifications. POSITION DESCRIPTION You will have tertiary qualifications in either Psychology or Counselling, and demonstrated experience working positively to support emotional wellbeing and the mental health needs of students in an educational setting. A working understanding of trauma informed education and experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds will be beneficial in this role. A sound understanding of child protection legislation and guidelines as applied to schools, and the ability to work in a school team are essential criteria. Applicants must provide a current WWCC and Police Record Check.
