The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time, Junior Secondary English and Humanities Teacher to join our team at Chinchilla Christian College, commencing in Term 1 2025.

As a Junior Secondary English and Humanties Teacher, you will teach Years 7-10 English and Years 7-10 HASS.

Remuneration
As a Secondary Teacher, you will receive a remuneration package circa $85,794 – $123,169 plus super per annum, based on your experience level.

Qualities, Qualifications, Skills
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for Secondary Teaching and a strong knowledge of the current curriculum. You will have:
- A current Christian church leader as a referee.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or Graduate Diploma if you hold a Bachelor in a different field.
- Be a qualified teacher with QLD College of Teacher’s Registration (QCT) or the ability to obtain QCT Registration.
- Support the College’s mission, aims and values.
- Be innovative and enthusiastic with a passion for curriculum.
- Contribute to co-curricular activities.
- Be experienced in promoting effective student welfare and behaviour management.
- Strong organisational skills, with an ability to effectively prioritise.
- The ability to teach from a Christian perspective, including teaching Biblical Studies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
