Life Centre Manager – Christian Education Lead library services and literacy initiatives in a vibrant K–12 Christian school. Permanent | 4 or 5 Days per Week (Your Choice) Teaching + Leadership Role Fassifern, Lake Macquarie Charlton Christian College is a Christ-centred K–12 school located on 12 hectares of bushland in Fassifern, NSW. Our mission is to equip students for life through quality education grounded in a Christian worldview. We are seeking a qualified Teacher Librarian to manage the College’s Life Centre (library) and lead its vision as a dynamic hub for learning, research, and reading engagement. This strategic role combines teaching, team leadership, and resource management across Kindergarten to Year 12. About the Role As the Life Centre Manager, you will: Lead the day-to-day operations and strategic development of the College’s K–12 library Foster a love of reading and support students’ research and digital literacy skills Manage and promote digital and physical resources in line with curriculum needs Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver co-taught learning sessions Supervise and support a small team (Library Technician + Library Assistant) Contribute to a positive, Christ-focused learning environment A small teaching load may be allocated, depending on your experience and interests. The role is available 4 or 5 days per week, depending on your preference. About You You are a committed Christian, passionate about Christian education and library leadership. You will also demonstrate: NESA accreditation as a teacher, with qualifications in education and librarianship/teacher librarianship Experience managing library services in a school or educational setting Knowledge of SCIS standards, ILMS platforms, and digital resource management Strong skills in collaboration, leadership, and student engagement Confidence in promoting reading, research, and information literacy across K–12 Why Join Charlton?
