Executive Assistant (Parental Leave Replacement)
Full Time | Term Time Only | Nov 2025 – Dec 2026

Charlton Christian College is seeking a highly organised and professional Executive Assistant to support the Heads of School (Junior, Middle and Senior) during a parental leave replacement period of approximately 15 months.
This is a full-time, term-time only position commencing in Term 4, 2025 and continuing until the end of Term 4, 2026.
Charlton is an independent K–12 co-educational Christian school on 12 hectares of bushland at Lake Macquarie. We are a Christ-centred community that values Love, Integrity, Faith and Empowerment, committed to helping every student grow in character and capability.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should demonstrate:
· A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, regular attendance in a local Christian church, and willingness to uphold and support the College’s Statement of Faith
· Knowledge of, and strong commitment to, child safety in an educational setting, including awareness of mandatory reporting obligations and safe practices when working with children and families
· Current Working with Children Check (NSW)
· Ability to manage complex administrative support tasks for multiple leaders simultaneously
· Experience coordinating events, documentation and communication
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and other digital platforms relevant to school administration
· Evidence of the following behavioural competencies:
o Working with People – Builds positive relationships, adapts to teams, shows care and empathy
o Planning & Organising – Anticipates needs, develops clear plans, delivers timely outcomes
o Adapting & Responding to Change – Flexible, open, and responsive in dynamic environments
o Following Instructions & Procedures – Attention to detail, accuracy, reliability
o Delivering Results & Meeting Expectations – Works efficiently to high standards and within deadlines
