About Chairo

Founded by Christian parents who felt passionately about providing for their children an integrated Christ-centred education that was consistent with the values they held, Chairo Christian School commenced more than forty years ago.

Today, Chairo is a growing non-denominational Christian school with 1,800 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

Our mission is ‘to provide excellence in Christ-centred education, in partnership with families, within a caring Christian community’, while our vision is ‘to see Christ’s redemptive impact in the world through the capability, character and commitment of our students’. We aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.

They will also serve as part of the whole-school ELT (Executive Leadership Team) alongside the Executive Principal, Business Manager and Principals from the other campuses.
