Primary Specialist Teacher

Carmichael College is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, non-denominational Christian College situated in Morayfield. The College was established in 2015 and is enjoying steady growth.

The College is seeking applications from experienced, passionate Christian teachers with open or provisional registration, to teach Primary students in a specialist area (such as HPE, the Arts or Spanish). This maximum term contract is available for commencement immediately and will run through to the end of Term 4 2026 or Term 1 2027 (with the possibility of extension).

In this role you will:

• Be passionate about teaching and learning, including teaching from a Christian perspective.
• Apply appropriate knowledge to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs in your nominated curriculum areas.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community.
• Provide for the physical, social, spiritual, and emotional well-being and the health and safety of students whilst at school and enhance their overall development towards life-long learning.
• Contribute to the pastoral care of students and others in the school community.
• Adopt new forms of pedagogy as required.

Applicants must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.
