Carmichael College is a co-educational, non-denominational Christian College established in 2015 in Morayfield. Carmichael College is seeking an experienced receptionist to join our Reception and Student Admin Support team as a Lead Receptionist. The Lead Receptionist is responsible for leading a small team and ensuring the College reception runs efficiently and effectively. This is a full-time role during term time only.
In this role you will:
- Provide exceptional service and support to students, parents and staff
- Manage the day to day front reception desk operations
- Allocate tasks to team members to ensure operational efficiency
- Assist community members and visitors to the Campus
- Perform general office duties to support the College
- Ensure accurate College attendance records and reporting
- Manage College volunteer applications and registration
- Support College events, as required
About you:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior customer service and/or reception experience
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Previous experience working in a school environment is advantageous
- Highly organised with a successful track record in prioritising requests and managing workflows
- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels of the organisational structure
- Clear sense of calling to do Christian mission within the College context
- Ability to model Christ to students, community, and staff
- Applicants must hold a valid Blue Card or be able to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
