Executive Assistant to the Principal
Carmichael College is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, non-denominational Christian College situated in Morayfield. The College was established in 2015 and is enjoying steady growth.
The College is seeking a professional, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who will provide timely and confidential assistance to the Principal. This is a full-time position that forms an integral part of the administration team at Carmichael College.
Role overview:
The role supports the Principal in their function and involves diary management, general administration, event support, communications assistance, and stakeholder engagement. The Executive Assistant also undertakes project management and event management throughout the year. Flexibility in work hours is essential to accommodate requirements of this role.
General responsibilities include:
Providing diary management and administrative support for the Principal
Attending to incoming queries and stakeholder engagement
Supporting the management and staffing of Reception and the Healthroom
Communicating relevant updates and notices to staff
Coordinating whole school events with the support of others
Travel bookings
Researching
Skills and abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to successfully prioritise and manage multiple tasks concurrently
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to solve problems and generate workable solutions
Ability to use databases, management and booking systems
