Carmichael College (QLD) is a Prep to Year 9 co-educational, non-denominational Christian College situated in Morayfield. The College was established in 2015 and is enjoying steady growth. By 2025 the school will have students in Prep to Year 12. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Office Manager. This is a full-time position – term times only – commencing at the beginning of Term 4. General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of the Administration Team
  • Reception Relief
  • Inductions for new staff and volunteers
  • Maintaining records including timesheets, staff PDs etc
  • Managing bookings and paperwork for camps, excursions, incursions, sporting events, student vaccination program and school photos
  • Posting events on College Facebook pages and app
  • Oversight of office equipment maintenance and ordering stationery supplies

Essential criteria:

  • Highly developed knowledge of MS Office applications
  • TASS or Sentral experience, or the ability to rapidly gain experience
  • First Aid and CPR qualifications
  • Blue Card
  • Driver’s license
  • Ability to a work in a team and a commit to collaborative working approaches
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Excellent administration, co-ordination and organisational skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Previous experience as an Office Manager
  • High attention to detail and accuracy of work is a must
  • Organised with exceptional time management skills
  • Christian and active member in a Christian church

The Administration Assistant reports to the Principal or Business Manager.
