The role We have a new opportunity for an experienced and motivated educational leader to join our Secondary Leadership Team as the Director of Teaching and Learning (Years 7-12) to commence at the beginning of Term 3 (14 July 2025). The Director of Teaching and Learning is a senior position, responsible for the leadership and management of the Secondary Teaching and Learning program in alignment with the ethos, vision, and direction of the College. The role of the Director of Teaching and Learning is to facilitate quality practice in curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and reporting, inspiring staff and students to flourish professionally and academically. Their responsibility is in the leadership of the academic organisation, to provide guidance and to ensure compliance in Years 7–12. As a key member of the Secondary Leadership Team, the Director of Teaching and Learning will work closely with the Head of Secondary Learning Community, Heads of Departments and other College leaders to ensure the outworking of the College’s strategic plan and direction. The successful applicant must:
- have a commitment to the Christian beliefs, culture, and values of the College
- be an active member of their local church
- be a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers.
