About the Role We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Accountant to join our Business Services & Support team on a full-time basis. This role supports the financial operations of the school, including our Early Learning Centre (ELC) and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) programs. The successful applicant will contribute to the faithful stewardship of the school’s financial resources while providing professional and supportive service to staff and families within our community.
Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile the general ledger Manage accounts receivable processes Administer ELC and OSHC accounts Respond to finance enquiries from school departments and parents Assist with debtor management and follow-up of outstanding accounts Support financial reporting and reconciliation processes Work collaboratively with the Business Manager and Business Services team.
Selection Criteria Diploma or Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Demonstrated experience in accounting or finance administration Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software Caloundra Christian College is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people.
