Now Hiring: Design & Technology Teacher Aide (Middle & Senior School)

Commencing: Term 3, July 2025
Tenure: Full-time | Term Time Only (5 days/week)

Bundaberg Christian College (BCC) is a flourishing, non-denominational Christian co-educational College offering quality education from Prep to Year 12 within a genuine Biblical framework. As we continue to invest in our practical learning spaces and student support programs, we are seeking a proactive and hands-on individual to join our Design & Technology team as a Teacher Aide.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support students and teachers in a modern workshop environment, contributing to innovative, skill-based learning across woodwork, metalwork, and other industrial technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with classroom demonstrations and student projects
• Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and materials
• Perform regular safety checks and liaise with trades as needed
• Support stock control, ordering, and administrative tasks
• Set up and clean practical spaces to ensure a safe learning environment.

Our Ideal Applicant Will:

• Demonstrate an active Biblical faith consistent with the College’s Statement of Faith and currently expressed in a Christian Church
• Uphold personal conduct that aligns with the College’s Christian values and mission
• Have experience or qualifications in an industrial or workshop environment
• Understand WHS responsibilities in a school or industrial setting
• Be practical, organised, and confident, supporting students in a hands-on setting.
