Position Purpose:
To build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues while supporting the delivery of high-quality educational programs and ensuring the smooth, compliant operation of the room under the guidance of the Room Leader.

We are seeking an educator to join our team who is passionate about supporting children’s holistic development—helping them grow in confidence, curiosity, resilience and character, while fostering a deep sense of belonging and a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:
– Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children
– Contribute to the educational program under the direction of the room leader to provide a high-quality program for all children
– Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures under the direction of the room leader/responsible person

Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated knowledge of:
– Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) V2.0
– Education and Care Services National Law
– Education and Care Services National Regulations
– Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy 2018)
– Child Protection legislation

Qualifications and Requirements:
– Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA), or:
– Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), or:
– Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
– Current approved First Aid qualification
– Current ACECQA approved anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
– Current approved CPR training
– National Child Safety Training
– Approved Child Protection Training – Keeping Children and Young People Safe Training (ACT)
– Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration.
– Eligibility to work in Australia.
– Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the school.
