As the Assistant Educator (Diploma Qualified), you will be assisting the ECT / Lead Educators to implement the educational experiences as well as the day-to-day operations in the room.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Build positive relationships through respectful and meaningful interactions with children, staff, and families.

• Provide adequate supervision for children in various learning experiences.

• Assist ECT / Lead Educator to conduct observations for our amazing children.

• Assist ECT / Lead Educator to set up learning spaces or experiences.

• Work together with the ECT / Lead Educator to develop learning programs according to the EYLF guidelines.

• Act as a positive role model, demonstrating positive behaviour and language.

The successful candidate must:

• Hold a Diploma in ECEC.

• Hold a current First Aid Qualifications (Early Childhood specific)

• Previous experience working in an Early Education and Care service (preferable).

• Hold the WWVP card.

• Have a sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF guidelines.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Positive, caring attitude and willingness to improve.

• Professional presentation
