We are seeking a highly organised and service-oriented Daily Organiser to play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the College and the continuity of teaching and learning.

About the Role
Working closely with the Timetabler, the Daily Organiser uses the Edval timetabling system to manage daily staffing, class cover, room allocations and timetable adjustments arising from staff absences, events and operational needs. The role is central to ensuring clear communication, accurate coordination and minimal disruption to learning across the College.

Hours & Availability
This position requires early morning starts to ensure staffing and class coverage are confirmed prior to the commencement of the school day. The successful applicant must be available during these hours to respond promptly to staff absences and emerging issues.
The role also involves occasional late afternoon communication to support next-day planning, timetable changes and liaison with staff and leadership. Flexibility in working hours is an essential requirement of this role.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily class cover for staff absences, including illness, leave and professional learning
Allocate internal relief and casual staff in line with College procedures and industrial requirements
Implement, record and publish daily timetable and room changes using Edval
Coordinate room allocations for assessments, meetings, events, excursions and whole-school activities
Act as a key point of contact for staff regarding daily organisation, cover and room changes
Communicate clearly, calmly and professionally in a dynamic environment
Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

Essential:
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
Confidence using digital systems and databases

Desirable:
Experience in a school or education setting
Experience using Edval or similar timetabling software
Understanding of school staffing and daily operational processes
