Psychologist Internship

Situated in the Newcastle region, Belmont Christian College is a co-educational College of over 900 students that deeply values child safety.

Belmont Christian College is excited to offer an internship to support a provisional Psychologist in achieving full registration whilst providing wellbeing support to students and their families at the College.

The internship includes:

• Professional supervision with a registered Psychologist who works in private practice and has experience in school psychology paid for by Belmont Christian College
• Employment at Belmont Christian College during term time
• One paid week in each of the three mid-term holidays to complete administration duties and professional development activities
• Four weeks of paid annual leave in the Christmas holidays
• Paid attendance at staff conference weeks (two weeks/year)
• Salary annualised across the calendar year and paid fortnightly
• The option of ongoing full time employment on completion of the internship, or a combination of part time work at the College and part time work in private practice with the supervising Psychologist
• This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and adolescents and who is seeking support to achieve their registration as a Psychologist in a supportive Christian environment.

All staff are required to be Christians, active in their local church and have a willingness to follow the College’s Codes of Conduct and child safe policies.
