Belgrave Heights Christian School (BHCS) is located in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria and is a thriving and vibrant educational institution established in 1983 with over 830 students from Kinder- Year 12.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a Media Content Creator with strong creative and people skills to join our enthusiastic, close knit Promotions team.

This role is part-time for 2 days per week and only during school terms with an additional week prior to students returning and one week after students finish.  Being able to work those 2 days flexibly during any given week to suit the school calendar would be advantageous.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing expertise in media content creation to support key stakeholders in delivering projects to promote the school and facilitate events.

It is essential that the successful applicant have, or be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated creative skills via a portfolio of previous work
  • Appropriate qualifications/experience in the fields of screen and media
  • Experience with video/reel creation and editing
  • Experience managing professional accounts on various social media platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop and Illustrator) or similar software
  • Experience with operating drone cameras, Mirrorless Still and Video Cameras

Additionally, the successful applicant will have, or be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Have strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Planning, organisation and time management
  • Effective online search skills and use of online tools
  • Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Docs would also be advantageous
  • Be a Christian role model and be able to demonstrate an active faith to students and to all people associated with the School
  • Actively support and adhere to the School’s vision, mission and ethos
  • Have, or be willing to obtain, a current Victorian Working with Children Check.
