Australian Christian College (ACC) is a protestant non-denominational, Christian Education organisation, whose mission is to develop each and every student to be equipped spiritually, academically, socially and physically to flourish into their full potential, and be a positive influence on the world around them. ACC Echuca, is located at Echuca, Victoria, and is a P-10, co-ed, Christian school. Secondary year groups are being added each year until P-12 is catered for.

About the Role
We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for our Maintenance and Transport Officer role.
Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Living out your faith in a Christian school community
- Ensure the College grounds are maintained to a safe standard for the college’s daily operations
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Communicate to the Principal any matters that affect school use of property or safety concerns
- Ensure the school is meeting regulatory standards, compliance and insurance
- Support the Principal’s vision for the site, including restoring, renovating, removing and establishing facilities and amenities.
- Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, building strong relationships with our students.
- Adhere to the allocated schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate transportation for staff and student excursions and camps.
- Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior, promoting a comfortable and welcoming environment for students.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the bus.
- Safely load and unload students at designated stops, ensuring their well-being and maintaining order.
- Ensure a warm, friendly and welcoming manner
- Maintains safety by operating or initiating emergency systems as trained and required.
- Contribute to the holistic care and welfare of students
- Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through professional development
- Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards;
- Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school’s child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;
- Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
- Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety
- Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;
- Ensure students’ views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;
- Model and promote the vision and values of the school;
