Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.
Our growing Narre Warren South Campus is a very supportive Christian school community that values its staff and prioritises internal career development. The Narre Warren South Campus is seeking a full-time Secondary English and Humanities Teacher to commence in May 2024. This is a fixed term contract until the end of Term 4, 2024.
We are seeking applicants who have a commitment to our College values and a demonstrated ability to encourage, educate and equip our students in achieving their personal best.
The successful applicant must:
- Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
- Be able to teach English and Humanities
- Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
- Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities.
- Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.
